Apartment for rent / furniture for free

Gentle readers,

I am moving and have the following items to give away to anyone who can pick them up on or slightly before 24th June (or preferably to the next tenant of the apartment; sorry, no delivery provided):

IKEA 2-person sofa/loveseat, 170cm x 65cm x 85cm, bought in 2002, needs new cover

IKEA bookcase, 165cm x 70cm x 25cm, bought in 2002

Sidebar / thing with drawers, 160cm x 80cm x 40cm, date of purchase unknown

IKEA TV table, very old & kind of crap, but hey:  it has wheels!  There is also a VCR, TV, and 2 dvd players, in roughly the same condition :-).

IKEA wardrobe, 180cm x 80cm x 50cm, bought 2004ish

Shelves, 143cm x 107cm x 30cm

Zanussi clothes washer, 85cm x 60cm x 56cm, ca. 2003
Zanker clothes dryer, 83cm x 60cm x 57cm, ca. 2003

Basically, a landlord or property owner is interested in whether or not you are going to be able to pay the rent each month. They would also prefer that you did not own a 150 pound dog and throw loud parties every weekend, but let's face it... they are in the rental business for the money they can make. It's a good idea to have ready any sort of proof of your income you can come up with, as evidence that you will have no trouble paying the rent on time.

I'd like to see more outdoor views in our home so we've replaced smaller windows with larger ones. The replacement team from Fairfax, VA helped us do the replacement. Windows (Alexandria, VA) can make a big difference in making your homes more relaxing and more beautiful than ever.
